Centre for Sustainability & Serenity (C4SS)

The Centre for Sustainability and Serenity (C4SS) is located at Mizan Park, USIM with a total area of 89m². It began operations on 1st January 2020. The centre serves as a one-stop centre for UI Green Metrics: World University Rankings and Times Higher Education University Impact Ranking on Sustainability data collection to show USIM’s commitment to the Green Campus and Sustainability Development agenda.

The 4 main thrusts are as follows:

• Thrust 1 – Green Campus
• Thrust 2 – Education
• Thrust 3 – Community Sustainability
• Thrust 4 – Research, Training and Consultancy

C4SS provides an Edible Garden as well as hydroponic plants such as Rock Melon and vegetables for teaching and learning purposes.
